The Model 5000C (A.R.O.S) Observatory is intended for the discerning Astronomer.  A.R.O.S. is an acronym for Astronomical Robotic Observatory System.  This highly refined Astronomy system  is designed for remote or rooftop applications at Universities or Long Range Missile Ranging applications or any place where remote robotic applications are required.  We at Boyd Observatories, are certain this is the finest available system offered on the market today. Coupled with our direct drive Standard Drive System and Cyber DriveTM command and control system, robotic applications will never be the same.  RS 232 serial port connectors are standard providing communication from your computer to our Cyber DriveTM control port allowing complete heated and comfortable viewing from your Vehicle.  Cyber DriveTM, is powered from your cigarette lighter or your isolated 12V DC system (not included).

Telescope:
Most commercial Catrodioptic telescopes on the market.  All Schmidt-Cassegrain including the venerable Celestron C-14, Catrodioptic telescopes, only, with the Factory Wedge including C-14 Fork mounted instruments,  and other Custom Slewing Configurations.
