The Model 6000 Observatory; exclusively designed by Garry J. Boyd, provides a low cost, high quality observatory for the amateur astronomer. The mechanical design is functional and spacious.

The square base provides the maximum space at an affordable price. White Laminate Computer Desk, with Key Board drawer installed (16in 38in x60in) available left side or right side or both sides. Out Settee Bin with 2 inch fabric cushion in available colors of burgundy, royal blue or charcoal gray. Walls reinforced Sandwich Core Laminate "ELL Foam" .250 in thick 2 pound density. Urethane Foam in addition to .125 thick F.R.P. on both sides for a total 1/2 inch wall thickness. Interior is beautiful backgelled dove gray two part polyester resin interior and white bolt flange trim. Observatory floor, optional Out Computer Bin Bottom and optional Out Settee with 3 inch fabric cushion, reinforced with 1/2 in OSB Wood Sandwich Core. All Standard in our high quality Observatories.

Observatory door reinforced with sandwich "CoreMat"^TM, for added strength and security along with two point locking door with stainless "Hurd Locking Handle" and two brass keys. Beautiful image of Saturn Emboss standard on all doors and flat side panels. Indoor/outdoor carpeting available in charcoal Grey custom cut to inside floor dimension optional. Completely water tight using the latest in ergometric, gaskets and overlapping flanges.
