Question: What environmental conditions can I expect inside
the dome and how well are the domes sealed from the outside environment?
Answer: Our Observatories typically have internal temperatures
5-10 degrees cooler than the outside air temperature. Our domes use
flanges and environmental seals to keep out precipitation and wind. |
Question: Does the Model 5500 have adequate space to meet
my needs?
Answer: The model 5500 is actually 7 feet in diameter
at the base providing adequate room for 2-3 observers, depending on the
telescope installation. |
Question: What size dome should I use?
Answer: First review technical specifications on our pages.
If you have additional questions we would be happy to talk with you and
provide additional guidance for the correct product solution that meets

Question: Can I use my telescope and tripod in the dome
instead of a pier?
Answer: Yes, you can use your telescope and tripod instead
of the pier. We do, however, recommend a pier to maximize your viewing
space and comfort. |
Question: How many Observatories have you sold?
Answer: There are hundreds of Observatories all over

Question: Can I leave my computer outside?
Answer: Although we do have customers that
leave computer equipment in their Observatories we recommend that you read
the owners manual or contact the manufacture for specifications.
There are manufactures that provided PC's designed to take the extreme
