Planetario OrreryPLANETARIUM ORRERY
Reproduction of a classic eighteen century planetarium. Turning the handle, through an inner gear, it's possible to reproduce the earth rotation on its axis and the revolution around the sun. Completely hand-made, this instrument is made on a covered wooden box; the plane representing the earth's yearly orbit and the zodiac signs, are a masterpiece made expressly for Renaissance Instruments. The metallic parts are made with brass.

Planetario SpheraPLANETARIUM SPHERA
Reproduction of an eighteenth century planetarium placed inside an armillary sphere. A very ornamental item madefrom brass. The solar system represents the level of astronomical knowledge at the time of the original realization, therefore the planets go as far as Jupiter; and can be placed manually around the sun.  An outer band bears the reproduction of zodiac signs; the base is made of solid wood, and the finish is beautiful lacquered black.

This is a real working model as earth revolves around the sun and moon revolves around the earth A faithful reproduction of a planetariums' famous series, carried out by the renowned French instruments' manufacturer Delamarche, at the end of 17th century. A particularly charming object, due to the visible mechanism reproducing the earth's revolution around the sun. The globe is fully hand-made, following the best traditions of the past. The earth's revolution plane has been designed solely for Renaissance Instruments. Made out of brass, with a lacquered black wooden base.

Planetario AdamsPLANETARIUM ADAMS
A simple item, inspired by the models produced in England, about the end of 17th century, by the instruments' maker Adams. The planets can be positioned manually around the sun; the wooden base is covered with precious marbled paper. The metallic parts are made of brass, and are hand-made.

Prisma di NewtonNEWTON PRISM
Accurate reproduction of the celebrated experiment on light's decomposition, conceived by the great Newton. With a candle placed behind the screen, a light's ray will be conveyed through an optical prism, thus splitting up into the colours of the rainbow. This instrument is made of brass and wood, and the central reproduction of the sun has been made by a well known illustrator.
